TRATTORIA DA ROMANO MAKES HOMAGE TO THE GINO ROSSI WITH “THE MUTE AND HOUSES IN BURANO” IN TREVISO
On the occasion of the exhibition dedicated to the great French artist Auguste Rodin, Marco Goldin, organizer of important exhibitions, wanted to commemorate and honor the seventieth year since the death of Gino Rossi, setting up a parallel exhibition at the new and restored Bailo museum in Treviso.
Marco, as he has done in the past on exhibitions on Impressionism or on Gino Rossi, has asked us for our two paintings “Il Muto” and “Case a Burano” for this event dedicated to the Venetian artist.
Two paintings that Gino Rossi presented at the 2010 Biennale and which were rejected. There is time until 3 June to visit the exhibition. 18 paintings are part of the exhibition at the Bailo museum which houses the exhibition and which hosts 10 works by the artist.
Gino Rossi’s painting had a profound inclination to cubism and Cézanne’s recovery. Unfortunately, the war, the period at the front and the family vicissitudes led him to a state of mental illness that led him to a sad end. Which also led to the loss and destruction of several of his works.
An exhibition not to be missed! We at the Trattoria da Romano are proud to represent and to know the artist to the greatest number of people!
